What is DespatchOS?
DespatchOS is a transport management system for UK fleets, made by the people who run one. It was built on a working fleet of vans in Exeter and is used every day to despatch the jobs, pay the drivers, keep the vans legal and bill the customers. DespatchOS is for the operator with one van or twenty: the office works from a web portal, the drivers from an app on their own phones, and both see the same live information.
Two parts of DespatchOS are open to everyone today. DespatchOS Quotes prices a freight job on your own rates and sends it on your headed paper. Invoice Upload turns invoices into a factoring-ready CSV at 10p each. The transport management system itself is in beta.
